We’ve finally updated our PlaceAutoSynchronizer freebie to support InDesign CC (as well as CS6, CS5.5,… all the way down to CS).
PlaceAutoSynchronizer adds a ‘live link’ feature to Adobe InDesign: as soon as the linked image or text file on disk changes, the InDesign document auto-updates.
Possible applications:
- Automated publishing: copy updated image files and text description files over the previous ones and have the layout auto-update.
- Synchronized text: multiple frames can ‘subscribe’ to the same boilerplate text. Each time the text changes, all subscribing frames auto-update.
