There is an issue with the currently available Place and Scale plug-in: when drag-dropping or placing an image too close to the right or bottom of the page, it 'flips away'. That's caused by a bug in the code that calculates the scale.

A new version that does not have the issue is being beta tested and will appear soon in our download area...
