The feature you ask about is not available in the current version of StoryParker, but it is on our to-do list - the next version (which will probably be made available in a few months) will most probably have this feature, unless we bump into technical issues (but it does not look that'll be the case).

P.S. assigning shortcuts should now work - first install StoryParker, open a document (to make the menu appear), then go to the Edit - Keyboard Shortcuts menu item, select the 'Active Page Item' product area if it is not selected yet. There you should find the menu items and be able to assign shortcuts to them.
